We're sorry to hear you experienced issues as part of a patrol mission. We will try and track down the set of circumstances that caused this and fix this for a future update to the game. If you happen to see any issues with patrol missions, please make a note of its code (e.g. HB-23853894-234). The easiest way to do this is to pause the game and then taking a screenshot of the pause menu. If you provide us with this code, we are better equipped to track down the issue you are having.
In the meantime, as you may have already discovered, you can re-scan for a patrol mission by pressing on the mission and hitting the 'RE-SCAN' button in the bottom-middle of the screen. This will allow you to continue playing patrol missions!
